Häberli is an innovator and inventor through and through. Born
in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he came to Switzerland aged 13
where he still has his own studio.
This is how Alfredo describes
his creative work: For me it is extremely important that furniture
invites activity and movement. These days people work differently
to before. This places new demands on our surroundings. People
are expected to take more initiative in discussions and to
be more active in meetings. I always try to develop and create
new solutions. Good ideas should be able to be expressed in
one or two sentences. I keep history in the background, and
